Where it is
On the north bank within reach of the northern-sector game-drive circuit, so morning drives start without a ferry crossing. The Paraa jetty for the launch cruise is a short drive, and the top of the falls is a ferry crossing and a drive beyond that on the south bank.
The setting
The lodge is set in bush typical of the northern sector, functional and quiet, with a central dining area and bar and rooms in blocks nearby. It is a practical base rather than a destination in itself, but it is well kept and the staff are helpful.
Rooms
Simple, comfortable en-suite rooms, each with a mosquito net, hot water, a fan and a small porch. Furnishings are basic but everything works. Family rooms are available. Power is solar with generator backup.
